Terms & Conditions
Last updated: October 2026
Please read these terms carefully before placing an order. By ordering from insulinsyringes.co.uk, you agree to be bound by them.
1. About Us
This website is operated by Insulin Syringes UK (“we”, “us”, “our”), based at 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, W1W 5PF, United Kingdom. You can contact us at [email protected].
“You” means the person placing an order. These terms apply to all sales to customers in the United Kingdom.
2. Who Can Order
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. By ordering, you confirm that you are over 18 and that the information you give us is accurate. If you are ordering on behalf of someone else, such as a person you care for, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
3. Our Products
We supply insulin syringes, including 1ml U-100 syringes with a 30G × 8mm fixed needle, in packs of 10, 30, 50, and 100. We take care to describe our products accurately, but images are for illustration, and minor variations in packaging or presentation may occur.
Important product information:
- Our syringes are calibrated for U-100 insulin only. Do not use them with other insulin concentrations unless advised by a healthcare professional.
- Syringes are sterile and single-use. Never reuse a syringe or needle.
- Dispose of used syringes whole into an approved sharps container.
- It is your responsibility to choose a product suitable for your needs. We do not provide medical advice. If you are unsure about syringe size, needle length, or dose, speak to your GP, diabetes nurse, or pharmacist before ordering.
4. Prices and Payment
- All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
- Delivery charges are £1.99 per order, or free on orders over £15. The exact delivery cost is shown at checkout before you pay.
- Payment is taken at the time you place your order using the payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely, and we do not store your full card details.
- We try to ensure all prices are correct, but errors can occur. If we discover an error in the price of an item you ordered, we will contact you. You may then choose to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund. We are not obliged to supply a product at an incorrect price, even after we have sent a confirmation.
5. How Your Order Is Accepted
When you place an order, you will receive an email acknowledging it. This is not acceptance of your order. A binding contract is formed when we send you an email confirming that your order has been dispatched. We may decline an order, for example if an item is out of stock, if we cannot verify your details, or if we suspect fraud or misuse. If we decline an order after payment, we will refund you in full.
6. Delivery
We deliver within the United Kingdom using Evri, usually within 2-5 working days. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to your address. For full details on dispatch, tracking, and missed or lost parcels, see our Shipping Policy.
7. Your Right to Cancel and Return Goods
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods and to return eligible items.
Because syringes are sterile products, this right does not apply to sealed items that are unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once they have been unsealed after delivery. Opened packs and packs with broken seals cannot be returned.
To cancel, contact us by email within 14 days of delivery. Full instructions, return costs, and refund timings are set out in our Returns & Refund Policy.
8. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Goods
We are legally required to supply goods that match their description, are of satisfactory quality, and are fit for purpose. If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photos. We will offer a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
9. Our Responsibility to You
We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage you suffer as a result of our failure to comply with these terms or our legal duties. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made, or for any business, trade, or commercial losses, as our products are supplied for personal use.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
We are not liable for any loss caused by incorrect use of our products, including use of syringes with insulin they are not designed for, reuse of single-use items, or following an incorrect dose.
10. Events Outside Our Control
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as severe weather, strikes, courier disruption, supply shortages, or utility or internet failures. If such an event occurs, we will contact you and take reasonable steps to minimise the delay.
11. Website Use and Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. You may view and print pages for your personal use, but you must not copy, reproduce, or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
You agree to use this website lawfully and not to attempt to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access, or introduce harmful code.
12. Privacy
We handle your personal information in line with UK data protection law. Please read our Privacy Policy to see what we collect, why, and how we protect it.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place an order is the version that applies to that order. We will always show the date of the latest update at the top of this page.
14. Complaints
If you are unhappy with your order or our service, please email us and we will try to resolve the issue promptly. We take every complaint seriously and aim to reply within 2 working days.
15. General
- Entire agreement: these terms, together with our Shipping and Returns policies, form the whole agreement between you and us about your order.
- Severability: if any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- No waiver: if we do not enforce a right straight away, this does not mean we have given it up.
- Transfer: you may not transfer your rights under this contract to anyone else without our consent.
16. Governing Law
These terms and any contract between us are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. Disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales unless your local consumer law gives you the right to use another court.
